History
The River of Hope Youth Center started with
a donation and a dream. The building was obtained at no cost from Camp
Ripley in northern Minnesota. The building was no longer in use by
Camp Ripley and the only requirement was the Hope Church would be
responsible for the dismantling and moving of the building. Volunteers
from Hope undertook this monumental task. The Session of Hope Church
approved proceeding with the youth building in September 2003. After
numerous volunteer hours by the church members and community residents, the
dream was completed in May 2007 with much celebration.
